Online training has never been more important than now, and time is of the essence in establishing long-term success. That’s why we thought we’d share with you this article from Training Journal on how eLearning has emerged as the most common approach to online training.
Having just celebrated their 50th anniversary, Training Journal has always been at the forefront of the industry discussing the latest trends and research. Having helped shape opinion and drive improvement across the industry for half a century, their articles are aimed at everyone from the Head of Corporate Learning and Development, all the way to the Independent Trainer.
The article by online training expert Simon Greany ‘Why Now is the Right Time for eLearning’ explains why time is of the essence in establishing long-term success by using blended strategies.
Simon Greany said:
“With a COVID-19 vaccine seemingly a long way off, business leaders aren’t waiting around for the tide to turn. Instead, they’re making changes to company operations and resetting assumptions, based on the facts and after having observed months of everyday life altered, marked by working and staying home, traveling less and social distancing. For L&D and HR departments it’s the same story, with time being of the essence. It’s no longer feasible to have a wait and see attitude with COVID-19 and what’s next. When it comes to training and engaging employees to set them up for long term success, L&D teams have to adjust to the situation at hand. That means walking the tightrope of offering employee training programs that work for the future, but also for the right now”.
